The Khartoum Tip project aims to reinstate a disused tip to become a natural beauty spot and a facility for outdoor activities such as walking. Works will allow the area to be fenced aesthetically, a path put in and reseeding and planting to improve the land over time.
The Dulais Valley Partnership is set up to regenerate the Dulais Valley and improve the natural beauty of the area. The tip site has been an eyesore for a number of years.
