Second public consultation on the Review of the Scottish Forestry Strategy

The first public consultation on the Review of the Scottish Forestry Strategy (24 June - 16 September 2005) gave Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS) useful feedback on what people thought were the important issues facing forestry.  This helped us to draft a revised Scottish Forestry Strategy and an accompanying Environmental Report.

The second public consultation, which ran from 6 March to 29 May 2006, sought views on the draft Strategy and the Environmental Report, which are provided below.

Analysis of responses to the second consultation

157 responses to the draft Scottish Forestry Strategy were received, of which 149 arrived in time to be included in the formal analysis carried out by Forest Research.
