Santon Downham

Santon Downham is situated in Thetford Forest on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. The office is signposted off both the B1107 Thetford to Brandon and the A134 Thetford to Downham Market roads. Follow the signs to the 'Forest Office'.
By rail
The nearest train station to the Santon Downham office is Brandon, although Thetford station is also relatively close. A taxi from either costs about £10 (ask for the Forestry Commission offices at Santon Downham). The trains to Brandon do allow cycles - the route from the station to the office takes about 30 minutes.
Tangham

The Tangham office is in the middle of Rendlesham Forest near Woodbridge in Suffolk. It is signposted off the B1084 Bromeswell to Burtley road. Follow the signs for the 'Forest Office'.
By rail
The nearest train station to the Tangham office is Melton. Taxi's are available from the station (ask for the Forestry Commission office at Tangham, Rendlesham Forest). Certain trains to Melton do allow cycles - the route from the station to the office takes about 20 minutes.
