Funding for Farm Woodlands in England

 

There are a variety of funding sources for farm woodlands under the England Rural Development Plan and the Forestry Commission has produced guidance (PDF 183kb) in order that landowners may:

• Understand the sources of funding available (notably English Woodland Grant Scheme and Environmental Stewardship).
• Understand what is required to satisfy funding.
• Understand which funding is mutually exclusive and which can be combined. 
• Gain an insight into the level of support available.
• Decide which funding is most appropriate for them.
• Find further information on the funding of interest.
