Running Trails
There are two waymarked running trails in the Forest Park, both of which start from the Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre. The trails were the inspiration of the local Meirionnydd Running Club and members of the club can often be seen out on the trail.
The easier of the two trails is the 3 mile long Sarn Helen – Short while the much more strenuous option is the 5 mile Sarn Helen – Long.
Both trails traverse the Cefndeuddwr ridge, crossing from the Eden Valley into the Gain, they then follow the Sarn Helen Roman Road on their return leg with stunning views across to the remote mountains of the Rhinogedd.
