Bwllfa Farm is a traditional hill farm situated on Bwllfa mountain. Rhondda Community Business Initiatives (RCBI) wish to develop and improve the area to enable community access and participation.
The project is part of a proposal to turn the farm into an outdoor leisure activity centre, to create long-term benefits that will help regenerate the local community, strengthen local economy and encourage community enterprise. Project work includes creating a network of paths to enable all ability access into the woodlands, creating picnic/seating areas, providing parking facilities, involving local schools and communities in woodland activities, organising learning and training events on site, and incorporating artwork and interpretation points within the woodlands.
