Learning in Northants
Northants forest district runs from Grantham in Lincolnshire right down to Ampthill in Bedfordshire, taking in many beautiful and varied woodlands.
These woods offer a fantastic learning opportunity for people of all ages and abilities, combining 'hands-on' education with ideas for active minds.
Our 'community and education' rangers can offer educational programmes designed to meet National Curriculum targets, as well as activities for the Life-Long Learner. There are several packages to choose from, or the session can be tailored to your needs. Groups looking for day or half-day ranger-led programmes can visit the woods listed below (others may be possible by arrangement).
