New Forest projects

PROGRESS -  This project has now ended, however the project concentrated on reconciling recreation and conservation in the New Forest and Fontainebleau Forest in France.  The webpages off this link are a record of what the project was and what was delivered.

Tomorrow's Heathland Heritage - aims to restore heathland areas across the New Forest and Dorset

Between 2004 and 2008, the Forestry Commission undertook an apprenticeship scheme this trained six young people in the practical skills required to manage the forest.
