
Osprey viewing is over for the season
The 2009 osprey season ended successfully with all three of the 'camera nest' chicks fledged and beginning thier long journeys to Africa for the winter.
It was another highly succesful breeding year for our Borders ospreys, with 9 pairs raising 22 chicks. Thank you to all our volunteers, supporters and visitors for helping make the 2009 season such a sucess.
Kalzie and Glentress centres
The osprey watch centres at Kailzie Gardens and Glentress Forest are closed for the season and will both reopen with the ospreys' return in spring 2010.
Look out for exciting new events, live wildlife action and more in 2010.
About the Tweed Valley Ospreys
2009 was Tweed Valley Osprey project's 11th breeding season for these rare and fascinating birds.

- Watch the birds nesting and rearing their young, and get involved with our many nature watch activities.

Webcam
During the seasons the main web cam shows pictures from the nest between 10.00am and 5.00pm every day.
Group visits
We are always happy to accommodate larger group and school visits. Booking ahead allows us to provide more staff and added activities please contact the Osprey Centre Officer for more details.
