Example of training we probably can't fund:
Your group is responsible for a local wood. You want to get some training on how to manage the wood. The training costs would normally not be eligible for Cydcoed.

Example of training we probably can fund:
Your group is responsible for a local wood. You have a project that includes thinning some dense areas of the wood. The group wants to do the work itself because this will generate greater local ownership. In order to do the work the group needs training in how to choose which trees to remove and how to chop them down safely. The training costs would normally be eligible for Cydcoed as long as they were a relatively small proportion of the total cost.
