Cydcoed Phase I

With the approval of the latest Phase I (woodland creation!) project the portfolio of Phase I projects is complete.
We have commited just over 100% of our grant (the "just over" will be funded through modest savings in Staff Costs).
We should overachieve on all our targets apart from "Ha of Community Woodland Created on Non-agricultural Land", the shortfall against this target will be added to our Phase II target.

There are 40 projects in total. All except one is on course for physical completion by end December 2003.

Cydcoed Phase II

No changes to report since last update, except that new proposals are flying in thick and fast.Team news

Grant payments

End of September was an important financial deadline for us. This was because the Welsh European Funding Office uses the situation at the end of September to report to the European Commission on the progress of the Welsh Objective One programme as a whole.
