The West Cumbria Team covers North West Cumbria and is based at Peil Wyke overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and in Ennerdale Bridge. The team is responsible for Cogra Moss, Ennerdale Valley, Broadmoor, Heckbarley & Crag, Lowther Park, Ulldale & Dent, Blengdale, Miterdale, Parkgate & Irton Pike, Giggle Alley and Cropplehow.
In Ennerdale the team is working with the National Trust and United Utilities in the Wild Ennerdale Partnership. Whilst in Eskdale we are working with the local community looking after a Japanese Garden and developing woodfuel as a local source of energy. In Blengdale we are involved in a project to improve access to the forest by creating a new loop Bridleway including new destinations and two new bridges across the River Bleng and Scaklderskew beck.
