In December 1980 several sightings of a UFO were reported in Rendlesham Forest...

Interpretation sigh for the UFO trail in Rendlesham forest. Many people think these mysterious events are the most significant UFO incident to have occured in the UK. There is no tangible evidence on the ground, but following the trail with the help of our leaflet and your imagination, an intriguing picture can be painted.

To help your children round the UFO Trail, why not look for the strange symbols on the posts and decode the message with help from our Alien Trail Leaflet, available from the Forest Office.

UFO on the UFO trail in Rendlesham.New addition to the trail

The Rendlesham UFO has finally landed! We're delighted to say that visitors to Rendlesham's UFO trail will now be able to see what the UFO sighted in 1980 was believed to have looked like.

What do other visitors say?

Please can you e-mail me more details. My partner turns 40 years old next year and he is obsessed with the Rendlesham UFO case. I would like to somehow book up a UFO trail walk? Can you send me info on how to go about this please? What accommodation is available nearest the forest? Please help as this would blow his mind and I don't know how to go about it?

Kind Regards

Lovely walk, informative leaflet but why put code on the signs if it means nothing to the kids at end? Good day but slightly frustrating.

Came at the weekend, 2nd time going. Had a great day out, walking a total of 12miles and took plenty of pictures. We shall be back in the summer and hope to camp too.
