PFE Questionnaire Terms and Conditions

  1. The closing time and date is 17:00, 28 September 2009. Entries received after that time and date will not be considered.
  2. The prize consists of a pair of tickets for a concert of your choice from the 2010 Live Music programme or a 12-month season ticket to the Forestry Commission England venue of your choice. There will be 5 winners.
  3. There is no contribution to travelling expenses.
  4. We reserve the right to withdraw and replace the competition prize if necessary and replace it with an alternative prize.
  5. The prize is not transferable and there are no cash alternatives available, in full or in part.  It has no cash value and is not negotiable.
  6. If the concert is cancelled by the organisers there is no guarantee that tickets to an alternative concert can be offered.
  7. Winners agree to abide to the terms and conditions of the concert ticket or season ticket.
  8. The competition is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands, aged 16 years or over, except Forestry Commission employees and their immediate families and anyone connected with the competition.
  9. By entering the competition, the participants agree: a) to be bound by these terms and conditions; b) that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win a prize; c) that should they win the competition, their name and likeness may be used by Forestry Commission for pre-arranged promotional purposes.
  10. Proof of postage is not proof of entry.  Forestry Commission accepts no responsibility for entries lost or damaged.
  11. All entrants must supply to the Forestry Commission their full names, postal addresses and daytime telephone number.  The Forestry Commission will only ever use your personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission.
  12. Only one entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry.  Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.
  13. The winning entrant will be the first correct entry drawn at random after the closing time.
  14. The prizes are as stated.  There are no cash alternatives and prizes are not transferable.
  15. The Forestry Commission’s decision as to the winner if final and no correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
  16. The winner(s) will be notified within 14 days of the close of the competition by post/telephone/email.

  18. The Forestry Commission reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, or alter or amend the competition promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  19. If the winner is unable to be contacted within one calendar month of the competition’s closing date, the Forestry Commission reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner-up, or to re-offer the prize in any future competition.
  20. The Forestry Commission excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the competition or occurring to the winner(s) arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.
  21. The competition is subject to the laws of England.
