The Forestry Commission undertakes and commissions economic research and appraisals and also compiles statistical information covering various aspects of forestry.

The Economics page provides access to economic research.

Our main statistics are published annually in Forestry Statistics.  Alternatively, use the menu on the left for further information and access to latest and archived publications, or the links on the right to access our latest publications directly.

Releases/ publications provides information on all of our statistical releases and publications and gives access to latest and archived publications (including indicators and UK returns to international organisations), as well as providing a list of our recent and forthcoming publications.

Our National Statistics and the UKSA pages provide background information on National Statistics and the new UK Statistics Authority, as well as detailing how we are complying with the National Statistics Code of Practice and supporting Protocols.
