Coed y Brenin visitor centre is the gateway to Coed y Brenin Forest Park. Try our world-class mountain bike trails, family walks, Go Ape! tree top adventure, café, cycle shop, all-ability play area and an easy access trail.
What's happening at Coed y Brenin? We are felling European Larch trees during November to stop the spread of a disease called Phytophthora ramorum. The visitor centre remains open but there will be some trail diversions which will be clearly sign posted. It may be necessary to close the children’s play area for a few days. The orienteering routes will be closed throughout. It's a good idea to ring the visitor centre on 01341 440747 before setting off so we can give you an update. Why not come and enjoy a coffee and watch the big machines operating? To find out more, please get in touch or read our newsletter

- Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking Home> Coed y Brenin was the first dedicated trail centre in the UK, and still the largest. 7 single-track trails cover 140km, five of which are red or above - a great combination of natural trails and armoured man-made sections offering some truly epic riding.
