Honey Buzzard Migration Watch
 

This project is investigating the migration routes and wintering grounds of the small population of honey buzzards which breed in the forests of the Highlands of Scotland. It uses minute satellite transmitters to track the movement of these elusive birds of prey to their wintering sites in Africa.

How to get there:

Inverness is the nearest town or village.

The site is being kept secret to protect these wonderful and elusive raptors - to follow the migration of the honey buzzard use link on the right.
