Welcome to the Arran hen harriers


See close up views of nesting hen harriers at the Kilmory Wildlife Viewing Project on the Isle of Arran.  By using CCTV, you can see the birds in detail without disturbing them.

On-site interpretation and guided walks with the information officer will help you to discover more about these beautiful birds and their conservation.

10.00am to 5.00pm Monday - Friday during the season.

We are tracking two hen harriers by satellite.

How to get to the harrier viewing centre

By Car

Take the A841 south from Brodick. 1km south of Lamlash turn right at the Kilmory sign onto the unclassified Ross road. After 12km, turn left at the T junction to rejoin the A841. Pass through Lagg -  Kilmory Community Hall with the harrier viewing centre is on the right at the top of the hill after the hotel.

By Bus

Stagecoach West Scotland bus service 323 runs through Kilmory.  Ask the driver to stop at Kilmory Hall.  You can view the timetable on the Stagecoach West Scotland website.
