Tyddyn Gwladys
 

Car park with picnic tables set right beside the rolling Mawddach River. This is also the start of the Golmines and Waterfalls walk.

How to get there:

Tyddyn Gwladys is in Coed y Brenin. Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Bala, Barmouth, and Machynlleth are the nearest towns or villages.

From visitor centre head South on A470 for 2 miles. On reaching the village of Ganllwyd turn sharp left immediately after the 40mph speed limit sign. Follow this minor road over a stone bridge and continue following the road on the right with the river Mawddach below. The car park is on the right at the end of the tarmac road after approx 1.5km (you will pass the pont caen y coed car park en route).
