Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre is the focal point in the beautiful Forest Park. It is renowned for its world class mountain bike trails that offer exhilarating and challenging riding in a woodland setting. There is a cosy restaurant/café and cycle shop (sales, repair, hire) on the site - opening hours as listed. There are information leaflets on a number of family walking trails for those on foot, and there is an all-ability play area and all-ability trail leading to the riverside picnic site located next to the visitor centre.

The Restaurant/Cafe "Bwyd y Brenin" is open 7 days per week, from 10am until 4pm Mon to Fri and 9am until 5pm Sat and Sun. Enquiries: 01341 440742.
The bike shop/hire centre - "Beics Brenin" - June 1st to 30th September (+ Easter and Spring Bank Holiday): 7 day opening, minimum 10am – 5pm - 1st October to 31st May: 5 Day opening, 10am – 5pm or dusk. Closed Tue & Wed. dusk. Enquiries: 01341 440728.

Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre is in Coed y Brenin. Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Bala, Barmouth, and Machynlleth are the nearest towns or villages.
East off the A470, 8 miles North of Dolgellau just North of Ganllwyd, South of Trawsfynydd. Follow the brown tourist signs.
