About Waterworks entrance

The surfaced path begins beside the small parking area. This is suitable for both walkers and cyclists.

Other paths in the area are also suitable for horse riding.

How to get there:

Waterworks entrance is in Dunsyston.
From junction 6 of the M8, and travel north on the A73 into Chapelhall. Take the first right onto the minor road at the pub, and follow until the t-junction at the farm.
Turn right and follow the minor road past Wester Dunsyston woodland, and take the first left. Follow this road until you see the sign for Dunsyston woodland, where there is a small parking area.
Airdrie and Chapelhall are the nearest towns or villages.

Hi - a super walk for people and dogs. I am extremely worried about the collapsed bridge where wooden slats have been put up with a warning to keep out. Could chicken wire be put from the bottom of this to half way up as small dogs and children can easily get through the gaps - a disaster waiting to happen. Many Thanks.

I'll pass the suggestion to the local team.
