About Balnain Bike Park
Balnain Bike Park has now closed as the project has come to an end. While you can still cycle in the forest, the trail structures are being dismantled and removed.
The closest mountain biking centres are at Laggan Wolftrax and Learnie Red Rocks.
How to get there:
Balnain Bike Park is part of Glen Urquhart. Drumnadrochit is the nearest town or village.
Coming from Inverness, follow the A82 along the side of Loch Ness to Drumnadrochit. At Drumnadrochit turn right along the A831 and head for Balnain, which is about five miles away.
You'll see the Glen Urquhart Forestry Commission sign on the left-hand side of the road. Turn in here, cross the river, to the car park.
The bike park is a few hundred yards along the forest road that is on the left hand side of car park as you enter it.
