Delamere Forest Park offers a great family Christmas experience with the Forestry Commission's largest Christmas tree sales point in North West England .
New for 2010 experience a train ride through the forest.
Christmas Tree Sales
Our sales start on Saturday 27nd November from 9am - 4.30pm at Whitefield Car Park. Last sales day is Sunday 19th December. The best trees always go first so don't leave it too late!
Avoid the Queues - Late Nights
Avoid the weekend queues our late nights are Friday 10th and Friday 17th December when we open until 8pm.
School/Group Visits
From 25th November-17th December, Father Christmas will meet and talk to groups of children in his Grotto and each child will receive a gift. Sessions last 20 minutes. Each Santa session takes 30 people £2 per person. Booking is essential. All enquiries 01606 882167.
Father Christmas
Father Christmas will be in his Grotto at Whitefield Car Park, during the weekends of the 4/5th, 11/12th and 18/19th December from 9am-5pm (Last entry 4pm). Father Christmas will also see children during the late nights of the 10/17th December from 4pm-8pm. Adult £1.50 Child £2.50.
Food, Drink and Trains
Hot food and drinks will be available on site during our opening hours from a victorian themed establishment sourcing local produce .............and new for this year there is a land train chugging through the forest, all aboard!
The Forestry Commission only sells trees that are grown in a sustainable manner in the UK – for every tree harvested another is planted.
Delamere is also a fantastic place for a winter walk or for a great festive day out with the family.
