Follow the route up the valley, alongside Kirk Burn, before climbing up the hill and returning to the car park through the trees.

How to get there:

Kirkburn Trail can be started from Kirkburn Car park in Cardrona which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Peebles is the nearest town or village.

The entrance to this car park is three and a half miles east of Peebles, on the B7062.
