About Otter Ferry Walk
Please note that due to recent storm damage all trails are closed at Otter Ferry. We will notify you as soon as we can when they are to re-open. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Take this easy route to the ruined village and pier at West Otter Ferry.
Go off the main route for a worthwhile climb to the viewpoint for stunning views down Loch Fyne towards Tarbert and the hills of Arran.
The path can be a bit muddy and slippy so waterproof boots are advised.
How to get there:
Otter Ferry Walk can be started from Port Ann in Port Ann which is part of Kilmichael Forest. Port Ann by Lochgiphead is the nearest town or village.
Port Ann is five miles west along the A83 from Lochgilphead. The car park is on the south side of the road just opposite the entrance to Port Ann village.
