Clyde View

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Clyde View

Slightly longer, and in places a bit steeper than the Berry Burn route, this trail takes you a little higher up the hill.

The upper section of the path follows the contour of the hill, giving a good opportunity to enjoy the views of Dunoon, Gourock and the Firth of Clyde, before starting downhill and returning to the car park.

See our main pages on forests around Dunoon.

How to get there:

Clyde View can be started from Kilbride, Glenmorag and Ardyne Carparks in Corlarach which is part of Corlarach. Dunoon is the nearest town or village.

From Glasgow, follow the M8 to Gourock, then take the ferry crossing to Dunoon.

On leaving the ferry, follow the A815 south to Bullwood, with access to Kilbride and Glenmorag carparks.

Continue on the A815, through Innellan and Toward to Ardyne Carpark.
