Green Cycle Route

This route is suitable for beginners and families. A short cut can shorten the trail length. The route comprises of wide open trails and mostly good surfaces. Rises and decents are gradual. Basic cycling skills and a reasonable level of fitness are required.

Green Cycle Route can be started from High Lodge Forest Centre in Thetford Forest Park. Brandon is the nearest town or village.

Did this with the missus. She hadn't ridden a bike in 20 years, so I thought the red was out of the question! A very nice, wide, quiet, easy ride. Mostly flat with a few inclines (I won't call them hills). Surfaces differ between mostly hard pack and sand. All in all, a nice "get you away from it all" ride.

Great beginners trail seenick well marked just enuff hills! nice shady spots to rest/picknic. just long enuff fo a little work out.
