Blue Cycle Trail

(Average user rating4 unrated 3.7/5)

This trail starts the same as the green trail then, just after the bridge, turns right onto the Grove cycling link. This is a 2 mile section of purpose built trail, fairly narrow in places but not single track. At the end of this section turn left and follow the forest drive to Blackling Hole. The route then climbs into the forest and returns to the back of the Grove house on forest roads, before returning to the visitor centre along the tarmac forest drive. The surface is mainly hard and compact although the condition of the forest roads is variable.

A great trial, and one of our whole family regulars. Suitable for fairly able and confident younger riders. There are a couple of steep hills, but they are on good forest fire roads. The ride back needs a bit of care as some of the down hills can get a bit fast.

your website is good but you need prices on there. I couldn't find any and it's time consuming when trying to plan holiday activities for young people groups

The best part of this trail is the Grove Link and the first big hill. Apart from that it's boring forest roads.
