The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations apply to forestry related projects: afforestation, deforestation, forestry roads and quarries.
If we decide that proposals for one of these projects will have a significant effect on the environment then, under these Regulations, the proposer must obtain our consent for the work. The proposer will be required to submit an Environmental Statement as part of the application for consent.
