About Rogie Falls

Rogie Bridge will be closed for 6 weeks whilst a new bridge is erected, however trails remain open. (Updated 14th May 2012)

This is the starting point for forest trails which lead down to Rogie Falls and the Blackwater River. See the activities section on this page for more information.

If you are using the footbridge at Rogie Falls, please note Highland Council recommend a maximum of 5 people on the bridge at any one time.

The car park lies beside the A835 road, two miles west of Contin.

There are toilets available here during the summer months which are owned and run by the Highland Council.

How to get there:

Rogie Falls is in Torrachilty Forest.
From Contin, take the A835 road west heading for Ullapool, for approximately two miles.
You will see the sign for the Rogie Falls car park beside the road. The car park is on the east side of the A835.
Contin is the nearest town or village.
